Who We Are

The Maryland Affiliate of the American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM) represents over 300 Certified Nurse-Midwives and Certified Midwives across our state. As the professional voice for midwifery in Maryland, we work tirelessly to advance the practice of midwifery and improve access to midwifery care for all Marylanders.

We are dedicated to promoting excellence in midwifery practice, advancing the health and wellbeing of those in our care, and strengthening the capacity and education of our members. Through advocacy, education, and collaboration, we strive to ensure that all families in Maryland have access to high-quality, evidence-based midwifery care.
